White House Visit
ALBUQUERQUE - "Using the Strengths of the Father to Protect the Gifts of the Mother" is the motto of Sacred Power Corporation, an Albuquerque, New Mexico based energy company that is Native-owned.
Sacred Power provides power generation, livestock watering, telecommunication, village electrification and home electrification to several communities in New Mexico.
Today, Nancy Sutley, Chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality and President Obama's principal environmental policy advisor, will visit Sacred Power Corporation to discuss the economic and jobs opportunities of clean energy.
Chair Sutley will tour the facility and meet with leaders of Sacred Power, a Native American owned and operated small business that provides renewable energy solutions to government, commercial and residential customers. The event will provide an opportunity to engage in a discussion on President Obama's commitment to supporting clean energy innovation and public and private sector leadership to create the American jobs of the future.
