NATIVE BRIEF: SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA - The Absentee Shawnee Tribe’s second AllNations Bank branch open house is scheduled for tomorrow - Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 1:30 pm. Absentee Shawnee tribal officials will be on hand to cut the ribbon.

The newest location, 2023 South Gordon Cooper Drive, is located between the Shawnee and Tecumseh on the reservation near the entrance to the tribal headquarters. The branch opened on March 1, 2011, but the grand opening was put off until tomorrow.
Though the bank is open to the general public, the vast majority of its customers are tribal members, according to Gene Davis, the chairman of AllNations Bank. Davis is a 40&$45;year veteran in the banking industry. Mr. Davis divides his time between the two branch locations.
AllNations Bank is 100 percent owned by the AllNations Bancorporation, which is 100 percent owned by the Absentee Shawnee Tribe. The main branch is located in Calumet, Oklahoma. The Tribe purchased the bank in 2004, which originally opened for business in 1901.
AllNations Bank has $33 million in assets with a loan portfolio of just over $15 million. AllNations loans are broken down as follows: 30 percent - agriculture loans; 30 percent - commercial loans; and 40 percent - consumer loans.
The new location provides full-banking services, which includes, saving, checking and CD accounts.
