WASHINGTON - The third White House Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Obama Administration will be held in Washington this week. This conference is intended to build upon the President's commitment to strengthen the government to government relationship with Indian Country.
Each of the 565 American Indian tribes are able to send one representative to this conference
Here is a schedule of activities associated with the White House Tribal Nations Conference:
Wednesday, November 30
White House Briefings and Listening Sessions with Tribal Leaders by Region
Eisenhower Executive Office Building
by White House Invitation Only
12:30 pm - 2:00 pm Representatives from the Eastern, Eastern Oklahoma, Southern Plains, Great Plains, Midwest and Rocky Mountain Regions
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm Representatives from the Pacific and Northwest Regions
Thursday, December 1

Invitees are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the scheduled start time.
