The Sacred Roads Unity Powwow Helps A Sacred Place

CANAAN, NEW HAMPSIRE - The Sacred Roads Unity Powwow is being held this coming Saturday and Sunday in Canaan New Hampshire. It is a inter-Tribal powwow that is to benefit A Sacred Place as well as the Dance Brooke Lodge Wolf-hybrid Rescue. There will be drumming, dancing, singing and much more.

13 Powwows

A Sacred place is located outside of Canaan, New Hampshire on 41 acres. It is a diverse landscape in the Indian River Valley with streams, wetlands, fields, and forest. It is a sanctuary for people to connect and strengthen their bond with nature. It is their intention to create a place of diversity and tolerance while promoting awareness and understanding. In this secluded place all are welcomed to connect with nature for as long as they wish.

Saturday and Sunday 10am - 5pm
Grand Entry at Noon, both days

A Sacred Place was founded by Auntie Shema and the Council of Elders. Their role is to help oversee activities, such as the Sacred Roads Unity Powwow, and keep up the land. A Sacred Place is an officially recognized nonprofit organization in the state of New Hampshire and is working to achieve the same status on a federal level,
