LOS ANGELES – The Red Nation Film Festival organizers are in need of some Indian humor. Yes, there is such a thing.

Red Nation Film FestivalNational Call for Native Writers

On Tuesday, the Red Nation Film Festival announced a national call for Native writers to create comedy skits for a proposed Internet television show.

Work will take place August 15 to September 15. Candidates should preferably live in the Los Angeles area; however, those selected can confer via Skype or similar technology.

This is an opportunity to work with seasoned Hollywood professionals and get in on the ground floor of an exciting project. For this project there is no monetary compensation, but artisan credit will be given and copies of finished product will be distributed. For those in the Los Angeles area meals provided.
