Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Selects iSALUS to Digitize its Healthcare Recordkeeping

DOWAGIAC, MICHIGAN – The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi has selected iSALUS Healthcare's OfficeEM Solution to digitize its health care services. The conversion to electronic records will significantly decrease administrative time.

The Pokagon Band Department of Health Services serves as a primary health care provider for Pokagon Band citizens in Allegan, Van Buren, Berrien and Cass counties in Michigan; and LaPorte, St. Joseph, Elkhart, Starke, Marshall and Kosciusko counties in Indiana. Citizens of any Native American or Alaskan Native tribe who live in the United States can be seen in the Medical Clinic.

Using iSALUS's OfficeEMR software solution, the Pokagon Band will benefit from reduced software and storage costs, quick and efficient access to citizen's medical records and security features to protect customer sensitive information.

Melissa Gard, the Pokagon Band's Clinic business manager, said,
