SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO - Last week, the US Department of Justice hosted the 2011 National Intertribal Youth Summit in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Some 175 young men and women from 50 tribal communities across the United States convened there for the week-long summit.
The summit featured administration officials from the White House and various federal department, including Interior, Health and Human Services and Education.
The summit provided an opportunity for Obama administration officials to hear directly from youth in Indian Country.
