Whether you are Christian, an American Indian traditionalist, Jewish or other type of believer, the message of Peace on Earth is universal and should resonate in our hearts at Christmas and throughout the entire year.
In the ever rapid changing world, peace is something we all should seek. Peace among nations, peace within communities and peace among families and even peace within ourselves.
At this Christmastime 2011, our prayers are with the less fortunate. Among American Indians and Alaska Natives, there are still too many who lack sufficient nutritious food to eat on a daily basis. There are still too many who lack sufficient heat in the winter. There are still too many who lack the most basic health care and overall needs of life.
We also offer prayers to Leonard Peltier, who is in prison, and all of those long walkers who are on the Leonard Peltier Walk for Human Rights in California away from their families.
Prayers go out to our troops in the service for the United States.
Christmas is a wonderful time to offer prayers for better lives for all. Our prayers are that there will be
