EL REGALO DE LA PACHAMAMAAt Su Teatro Tonight

DENVER - The International Institute for Indigenous Resource Management is pleased to partner with the XicanIndie Film Festival to present a special screening of PACHAMAMA at Su Teatro tonight.

EL REGALO DE LA PACHAMAMA is a coming-of-age film that tells the story of Kunturi, a 13 year old teen, who lives a traditional Quechua life with his family in Bolivia. The movie follows the boy's first trip with his father bartering salt for the products of the Andes, the atiplano and the valleys. Pachamama is billed as a warm and vibrant film.

The International Institute for Indigenous Resource Management originally screened PACHAMAMA at their 2010 Indigenous Film & Arts Festival and reprised it during our 2011 monthly film series at the Denver Botanic Gardens. This film is brought back by popular demand.
