Navajo Nation Presidential Veterans Town Halls To Kick Off May 17

WINDOW ROCK, ARIZONA - In a commitment to listen to all citizens of the Navajo Nation, President Ben Shelly is kicking off the Shelly-Jim Administration Presidential Veterans Town Halls this week to listen and discuss issues affecting Navajo veterans.

The Navajo Nation has a proud history of Navajo service men and women who have fought in the US military. It is extremely proud of Navajo Nation Code Talkers, whose contributions helped American and Allied Forces win World War II.

In total there will be four veterans town halls spread over the next two weeks. See the schedule below:

Tuesday, May 17th

K’ai Bii’ Tó Chapter House
Kaibeto, Arizona

Wednesday, May 18th

Oak Springs Chapter House
Oak Springs, Arizona

Wednesday, May 25th

Dennehotso Chapter House
Dennehotso, Arizona

Thursday, May 26th

Navajo Technical College Campus
Crownpoint, New Mexico
