WINDOW ROCK, ARIZONA The Navajo Nation Environmental Protection Agency, EPA, will host a public open house and stakeholders meeting to provide information about the Federal Implementation Plan for Interstate Transport of Pollution Affecting Visibility and Best Available Retrofit Technology for the San Juan Generating Station and to receive comments and inquiries from the stakeholders.

The Navajo Nation Environmental Protection Agency will provide updates and discuss the interests of the Navajo Nation in the regional haze dispute. The open house is intended to assist stakeholders in considering reasonable alternatives and to assist stakeholders in providing informed comments about alternatives to the regional haze plans.
The Navajo Nation is considered as a major stakeholder interest in the regional haze dispute. Because of its unique position, the Navajo Nation will host a stakeholder meeting on this issue and will continue to participate with other major stakeholders to identify workable alternatives that could replace the federal plan.
