CHICAGO Last week, Ubisoft presented new trailers and game play footage for their upcoming fall game, "Assassin's Creed III," at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, E3. Since 2007, fans have been enjoying the historical-fiction, action adventure, stealth assassin games and this October's release looks promising.
The game continues to follow the protagonist, Desmond, as he tries to solve the mysteries of his ancestral assassins and their epic struggle with the Knights Templar. Through the help of simulated technology, Desmond retraces the steps of his ancestors throughout history and countries.
His new installment will feature an American Indian assassin named Connor. The main game play takes place during the American Revolution. It is not entirely clear where Connor's loyalties lie, but many videos revealed him sabotaging the British, who are secretly, Templar.

The new trailer shows off an iconic bald eagle soaring through the woods and into a battlefield with the assassin close in tail. Eagles symbolize the assassin's territory and presence.
The AC games are known for their parkour style of traversing throughout levels, making anything and everything accessible to climb. Videos reveal Connor moving fluidly throughout treetops, cliff sides and knee deep snow.
A new addition to game play will be the weather effects. As opposed to the usual sunny villas and cities, there will be seasonal transitions such as rain and snow.
While not dressing as a typical Native from this era, Connor wears the typical assassin's hood and garb with Native influences. Connor sports a tomahawk, as well as bow and arrow, while keeping true to the assassin's infamous hidden wrist blades.
Assassin's Creed III will be available on October for PS3, XBox360, and PC.
