11 Weekend Events
HARRIMAN, NEW YORK - The Redhawk Native American Arts Council, a non-profit group based in New York City, is hosting its 14th Bear Mountain Powwow this week.
As part of the weekend celebration, the organization is hosting the Redrum's Motorcycle Blessing and Scholarship Run. The motorcycle run will assemble in front of the bull in lower Manhattan on Broadway in New York City at 11:00 am sharp. A $12 donation is being requested to contribute to a scholarship fund to assist American Indian students. The motorcycle run will take one hour to the Bear Mountain Powwow.
There will be a bus available from NYC to Bear Mountain Powwow. Adults $25, Children 7-12 years old and Senior 65+ $20, Children 6 years and under $14. Round trip travel and powwow admission included.
There are two pick-up locations on Saturday, August 6th and Sunday, August 7th:
Estimated arrival time at the powwow is 10:45 am. The bus will depart Bear Mountain for New York City at 6:00 pm.
