Keep the Call-In Going
ALBUQUERQUE - "We've got to keep these mass call-ins going," states Peter Clark, chairman of the Albuquerque Chapter of the Leonard Peltier Defense Offense Committee.
The Leonard Peltier Defense Offense Committee has been staging mass call-ins since July 11 to CNN and the Federal Bureau of Prisons to bring Leonard Peltier's ongoing imprisonment his placement into the solitary confinement He has been there since June 27.
Clark asks: "Let's all try to call Bureau of Prisons starting right at 11 am edt and keep it going all day."
He continues: "Read the incident report and let them know how obviously bogus these charges are. Tell them solitary is torture. Tell them the world is watching their inhumane treatment of prisoners. Tell them solitary for Leonard could be his death sentence. Tell them it is obvious that this is retribution - coming less than a day after Oglala Commemoration and Leonard's statement.
The call-in telephone numbers are: 202.307.3198 or 202.514.6650.
Those wishing to lend their support in this call-in effort should make reference to Leonard Peltier #89637-132 and contact:
