LOS ANGELES The Los Angeles City/County Native American Indian Commission is still seeking sponsorships to send low income families to a NBA game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Phoenix Suns.
Native American Heritage Day December 8
Saturday, December 8, is the date set for the game that is billed as the Clippers Native American Heritage Day.
The Commission have requests by 200 Indian children and families that want to attend the game. All funds and tickets will be distributed to low income families with attention on children who are in the Indian Child Welfare Act program.
This is the Third Year of this Event
The request for sponsorships is not a fundraiser. The price per ticket is $15 for the basic seats. The Commission will be identified on the main screen and other display boards throughout the game.
The Commission is seeking sponsors of 10 tickets or more. All tickets donated can be tax deductable.
The Commission recognizes that many of you are not in the area but you may have family or friends who will enjoy the event so purchase any amount of tickets as a donation.
The Commission thanks the Clippers which is the only NBA team that is hosting this type of event and we are of course proud that they have chosen to partner with the Los Angeles City/County American Indian Commission for the past three years.
Please contact Lauren Kimball or Ron Andrade at 805.404.1490 for further information.
