LEESBURG, VIRGINIA - Preparing for their entry into Washington DC on Friday as the Longest Walk 3 - Reversing Diabetes brings the message of the devastating effects of diabetes among American Indians, the Long Walkers practiced a song written for the occasion on Wednesday evening.
Dennis Banks, the leader of the Longest Walk 3, drummed and was lead singer, as the other participants practiced after a long day of participating in the National Diabetes Summit held at the Best Western Hotel and Conference Center in Leesburg, Virginia.
