ISABELLA INDIAN RESERVATION – There has not been a trace of young Carnel Chamberlain since last Thursday night. It is still not clear what happened to him. Did he wander off into the woods or was he a victim of foul play?

We share with you the thoughts and feelings of some of the Saginaw Chippewa tribal community members. As the community still struggles with the absence of answers to the question: Where is Carnel Chamberlain?

The Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Police department is the lead law enforcement agency in the search efforts and what is now being called a criminal investigation in this case. The FBI and Michigan State Police are assisting the investigation.

The Mother, Jaimee Chamberlain's, now ex-boyfriend Bennett, has been named a person of interest in this case. He has not been labeled as a suspect. He has reportedly not been cooperative with law enforcement. He has refused to answer some of the simplest questions relating to Carnel's disappearance. Bennett has refused to take a polygraph test. His mother has taken one and passed it.
