Tell Us, Please
American Indians are sometimes asked how we spend the 4th of July? Do we even celebrate the national holiday?
Given the large number of powwows happening this Fourth of July weekend, it appears American Indians like to celebrate because powwows are a form of celebration with drumming, singing and dancing.
However you celebrate the Fourth of July, the Native News Network wants you to have a safe holiday weekend. And, we want to know how you acknowledge the birthday of the United States - the Fourth of July?
Please send us your comments, we will post them ASAP.
You can use the comment - Discussion form below and please, also add a photo or four of your holiday weekend time.
