SAULT STE. MARIE, MICHIGAN Veterans Day is a day not only to remember those who died in service to our country, but also to recognize those who continue to serve today.
It is important to honor and thank those who fulfill this patriotic duty to maintain the freedoms of our country. Veterans Day is an opportunity to take time to honor the men and women who have served our country, and Kewadin Casinos is doing just that.
This year, military veterans can stay in the eastern part of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula at the Kewadin Casino Hotel in Sault Ste. Marie or Kewadin Shores Hotel in St. Ignace for free on Veterans Day, November 11.
“It's our small way of giving back and thanking those who deserve it,”
said Tony Goetz, casino COO. In addition to the free hotel, all Veterans showing military ID will receive $10 in Kewadin Credits on Veterans Day.
Kewadin Shores Hotel in St. Ignace was voted Best Casino by Michigan Travel Vacation Magazine earlier this summer. Both casinos are tourist destinations in upper Michigan.
Veterans wishing to use this special simply need to make a hotel reservation for November 11 by calling the casino 800.539.2346. Upon check in, some form of military ID will be required.
The Kewadin Casino Hotels are owned and operated by the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Michigan, located in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
