American Indian Health and Family ServicesTonight, June 6, 5:00 - 7:00 pm

DETROIT – The American Indian Health and Family Services' approach integrates traditional Native American healing and spiritual practices with contemporary western medicine in both treatment and prevention.

The Minobinmaadziwin/American Indian Health and Family Services of Detroit is hosting a Diabetes and Depression spotlight event. Diabetics, pre-diabetics and their family members will learn about:

  • Signs and symptoms of depression
  • Strategies for emotional wellness
  • Importance of Sleep
  • Maintaining a well-balanced diet
  • Benefits of exercise
  • Participate in Meditation and Yoga

A Free Meal and Prize Raffle, along with Meditation and Yoga, promise to round out the evening.
