CROW AGENCY, MONTANA - Crow Country is home to many historical sites and scenic country. Crow Native Days take place right in Crow Agency, Montana - in the Heart of Crow Country.
Beginning Friday, there will be a re-enactment of the Battle of Little Big Horn daily - Friday, Saturday and Sunday - at the Real Bird Ranch located right at the historic Medicine Tail coulee where the battle actually took place. The dates of this colorful event correspond with the anniversary of the infamous Battle of the Little Big Horn.
Crow Native Days has entertainment for the whole family to enjoy, including a powwow, rodeo, Indian relay race, horse races and a parade. Additionally, a special program honoring veterans is on the agenda.
Crow Days were begun during the 1990s to combat alcohol and drug abuse. This year, there will be an anti-meth trail ride. Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited at Crow Native Days and other places on the Crow Indian Reservation.
