Back to School Community Powwow Grand Entry Begins at 7pm
CHICAGO The American Indian community in Chicago is coming together this Thursday to make sure American Indian students are ready for school with a Back to School Community Powwow at the American Indian Center of Chicago, located at 1630 West Wilson, Avenue on Chicago''s north side.
American Indian students will receive school supplies, including backpacks and other school supplies.
There will be a community potluck at 5 pm cdt.
Grand Entry for the community powwow will begin at 7 pm and end at 9 pm.
