RAPID CITY, SOUTH DAKOTA - Twins born to John and Jolene Anthony present a new twist to the adage "the last shall be first and the first shall be last."

Baby Kylee Anthony was last and first; her twin brother, John, was first and last.

Even with the double-talk, both will have bragging rights in the future.

Kylee Kim was the last baby born at 11:59 pm in 2011 at Rapid City Regional Hospital and the first twin born. John Joseph gets the honor of being the first baby born in 2012 at the hospital at 12:03 am, but was born last of the twins.

Both babies were born healthy. The twins and mother are doing well and are expected to be released from the hospital today.

Jolene Anthony, Cheyenne River Oglala, is an assistant manager at Walmart in Rapid City and John Anthony sells automobiles at a local car dealer.

Their tax consultant can determine how many tax deductions they can claim for the old year - 2011.
