American Indian photojournalists Release "Images from Indian Country Calendar"

NORMAN, OKLAHOMA – The Native American Journalists Association produced a 2013 photography calendar with images that celebrate Indian country as seen through the lenses of American Indian photojournalists. This exciting project came together this fall with the help of six NAJA member photographers.

Special thanks goes out to photographers Ken Blackbird, Tetona Dunlap, Darla Leslie, Benny Polacca, Eugene Tapahe and Adam Sings In The Timber, as well as the Osage News,www.osagenews.org, for participating in the project.

Orders will be shipped starting next week. All proceeds from calendar sales support NAJA projects and initiatives.

For nearly 30 years, NAJA has served and empowered Native journalists through programs and actions designed to enrich journalism and promote Native cultures. This calendar is an extension of that mission.
