Sometimes the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth becomes clouded in the politics and celebrity of the storytellers. Minutes, years and sometimes generations can pass with non-Indians learning only a portion of our truth. All too often these incomplete truths come to be taken as the whole truth, or worse they are taken as historical fact.

As journalist, we at the Native News Network, take it as our mission to more accurately present the truth as life unfolds.
